Thank you for shopping on abubazaar. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns and refunds on our multivendor platform.

Please note that as a multivendor marketplace, individual Vendors may have specific return conditions for their products, which will be clearly stated on their respective product pages. This abubazaar policy sets the baseline standard, but the Vendor's specific policy (if stricter) may apply.


 Interpretation and Definitions

  1. "Platform" refers to the abubazaar website and services.
  2. "Vendor" refers to the independent third-party seller listing and selling products on abubazaar.
  3. "Customer" refers to the end-user purchasing a product.
  4. "Return" is the process of sending a product back to the Vendor.
  5. "Refund" is the credit of the purchase price to the Customer's original payment method or abubazaar wallet.


General Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

To be eligible for a return and refund, the item must be:

  1. Unused and in its original condition: It must be in the same state as you received it, with all original tags, packaging, and accessories intact.
  2. In its original packaging: The product must be returned in the original manufacturer's box or packaging to prevent damage in transit.
  3. Accompanied by proof of purchase: Your abubazaar order number is required.
  4. Returned within the specified return window: Please see the timelines below.


Return Timelines

  1. Standard Return Window: Most products can be returned within 7 days of the delivery date.
  2. Vendor-Specific Windows: Some Vendors may offer extended return windows (e.g., 10 days). This will be specified on the product page. The longer window will take precedence.


Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned for hygiene, safety, or digital nature reasons. These include, but are not limited to:

  1. Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers)
  2. Personal care items (e.g., cosmetics, skincare)
  3. Intimate or sanitary goods
  4. Digital products (e.g., software, e-books, gift cards)
  5. Customized or made-to-order products
  6. Products marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-returnable" on the product page.


The Return & Refund Process

Follow these steps to initiate a return:

  1. Contact Us: Within the return window, log in to your abubazaar account, go to "My Orders," and select the item you wish to return. Click "Return Item" and provide the reason for the return.
  2. Vendor Approval: The return request will be sent to the Vendor for approval. The Vendor has 48 hours to approve or reject the request based on the eligibility criteria.
  3. Return Shipping:
  4. If the return is due to a Vendor error (e.g., wrong item, defective product, damaged item), the Vendor is responsible for providing a prepaid return shipping label or arranging a pickup.
  5. If the return is due to a Customer's change of mind, the Customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. You will be provided with return instructions.
  6. Inspection & Refund: Once the Vendor receives the returned item and verifies its condition, they will notify abubazaar.
  7. Refund Initiation: Upon confirmation from the Vendor, we will initiate the refund to your original method of payment. You will receive a confirmation email.


 Refund Timelines

  1. Credit/Debit Card & Bank Transfers: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after the return is approved. The time it takes for the refund to reflect in your account will depend on your bank's processing time.
  2. abubazaar Wallet: Refunds will be credited to your abubazaar wallet immediately upon approval and can be used for future purchases.


Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. You must provide clear photos or a video of the product, its packaging, and the shipping label. We will work with the Vendor to arrange a free return and provide a full refund or replacement at your discretion.


Vendor Non-Compliance

abubazaar is committed to ensuring a fair experience for our Customers. If a Vendor fails to respond to a valid return request or does not comply with this policy, our support team will intervene to help resolve the issue.
